Quest Aircraft Company Announces Purchase Agreement for

12 KODIAKS

Agreement Marks First KODIAK Sale to China

October 29, 2012, Orlando, FL…Quest Aircraft Company is pleased to announce the sale of 12 KODIAKs to Blue Eagle Aviation Investment Management Corp. of Beijing, China. The first aircraft will be delivered in November, with deliveries continuing through 2015. The agreement also calls for options for additional KODIAKs.

“This is a significant milestone for Quest,” said Steve Zinda, Director of Sales and Marketing. “China and the entire Asia-Pacific Rim offer strong market potential for the KODIAK, as the multi-mission capability and efficiency of the aircraft are well-suited to this region. This first delivery will help us raise awareness of the KODIAK and enhance our sales efforts in this part of the world.”

Blue Eagle Aviation was named an authorized KODIAK dealer in July as part of Quest’s growth strategy to partner with premier local organizations. The company has focused on regions of the world where the KODIAK is certified or pending certification, along with those areas with the most market potential. Work on receiving certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) is well underway, and is expected by the end of the year.

“We are very pleased to have Blue Eagle Aviation as part of our international sales network, and especially pleased to announce this initial sale into China,” added Zinda. “We have seen strong interest in the KODIAK in this region and, with the added expertise of Blue Eagle Aviation, we are very excited about our sales potential.”

Quest has seen strong market acceptance in key market segments, including personal use, Part 135 operations, government, and humanitarian organizations. The company has also begun developing a special mission KODIAK, the Air Claw™, in conjunction with Northrop Grumman.

The versatile KODIAK’s rugged aluminum construction combines superior STOL performance and high useful load. It offers proven turbine reliability with the Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine engine, has the ability to land and take off from unimproved surfaces and is capable of working off floats without structural upgrades. The KODIAK can take off in under 1,000 feet at full gross takeoff weight of 7,255 lbs. and climb at over 1,300 feet per minute.

Quest Aircraft Company is the manufacturer of the KODIAK, a 10-place single engine turboprop utility airplane, designed for STOL use and float capability. Headquartered in Sandpoint, Idaho, the company was established in 2001 and began deliveries of the KODIAK in December 2007. For more information, please visit www.questaircraft.com.
