KODIAK with Summit Executive Interior on Display

May 24, 2016, Geneva, Switzerland….Quest Aircraft Company is again exhibiting at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE).The international event, which runs from May 24-26, draws more than 10,000 business aviation professionals to Geneva’s Palexpo and the adjacent static display. A KODIAK® with the Summit Executive interior is on static display in space #08. In addition, the company has a stand (S098) inside the exhibit hall. Quest is exhibiting at EBACE in partnership with Rheinland Air Service (RAS), Quest’s authorized KODIAK dealer for Europe. RAS is also an authorized KODIAK service center.

The top-of-the-line Summit interior features club seating with a recline function, folding tables, forward cabinets, enhanced soundproofing and other amenities. The aircraft on display also includes the popular external cargo pod, over-size tires, air-conditioning and upgraded avionics options.

“We are very pleased to again have a KODIAK here at EBACE,” said Steve Zinda, Vice President of Sales for Europe, Africa, the Middle East and China. “We have continued to expand our international presence and being at key events like EBACE allows us to showcase the KODIAK to a wider audience.” Quest made its EBACE debut last year. The company also recently exhibited at AERO Friedrichshafen for the second time.

Quest is coming off a strong 2015, having delivered 32 KODIAK aircraft, the best year to-date in the company’s history. KODIAK deliveries have risen steadily since 2012, as worldwide demand for the KODIAK has grown. The company also continues to certify the KODIAK in key countries worldwide. The KODIAK currently has received 22 certifications covering 32 countries, and is working on several additional certifications, including the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

“With an experienced, respected dealer like RAS, coupled with the impending changes regarding single-engine turboprops by EASA, we expect increased interest in the KODIAK from a variety of customer segments,” Zinda added. “There are currently six KODIAKs in service in Europe, and we see potential for many more.”

The KODIAK’s rugged aluminum construction combines superior STOL performance and high useful load. It offers proven turbine reliability with the Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine engine, has the ability to land and take off from unimproved surfaces and is capable of working off floats without structural upgrades. The KODIAK can take off in under 1,000 feet at full gross takeoff weight of 7,255 lbs and climb at over 1,300 feet per minute. KODIAKs are in operation around the world in key market segments including personal use, Part 135 operations, government and humanitarian organizations.

Quest Aircraft Company is the manufacturer of the KODIAK, a 10-place single engine turboprop airplane, designed for STOL use and float capability. Headquartered in Sandpoint, Idaho, the company was established in 2001 and began deliveries of the KODIAK in December 2007. For more information, please visit www.questaircraft.com.
