Quest Aircraft Makes FIDAE Debut

Company Continues to Expand Global Presence

March 29, 2016, Santiago, Chile…Quest Aircraft Company is pleased to announce that the KODIAK® aircraft is making its debut at FIDAE 2016. The aircraft is on display during this year’s event, March 29-April 3.

“We are very pleased to bring the KODIAK to FIDAE for the first time,” said John Hunt, Vice President of Sales for North, Central and South America. “There are several KODIAKs already in service in South America, and we see potential for more growth. Having a presence at this important event enhances our marketing efforts in the region.”

Earlier this year, Quest named Aeroservicio as its authorized KODIAK sales representative for Chile. Based in Santiago, Aeroservicio has over 50 years of experience in the aviation industry. Representatives from both Aeroservicio and Quest will be on hand at the show. The KODIAK is located in the static area, known as the Parque de Aeronaves. The aircraft on display features the popular Timberline interior and is equipped with a cargo pod, air conditioning, and oversized tires.

“The versatility of the aircraft makes it perfect for a wide range of applications,” added Hunt. “We are pleased to be here at FIDAE to showcase the variety of missions that the KODIAK can perform to a broad audience of potential customers.”

Over the last few years, Quest has continued to strategically expand its presence around the globe. The company also continues to certify the KODIAK in key countries worldwide, and has begun working toward Chilean certification. The KODIAK currently has received 21 certifications covering 31countries. KODIAKs are in operation around the world countries in key market segments including personal use, Part 135 operations, government and humanitarian organizations.

The KODIAK’s rugged aluminum construction combines superior STOL performance and high useful load. With powerful turbine performance, the aircraft has the ability to land and take off from unimproved surfaces and is capable of working off floats without structural upgrades. The KODIAK can take off in under 1,000 feet at full gross takeoff weight of 7,255 lbs. and climb at over 1,300 feet per minute.

Quest Aircraft Company is the manufacturer of the KODIAK, a 10-place single engine turboprop airplane, designed for STOL use and float capability. Headquartered in Sandpoint, Idaho, the company was established in 2001 and began deliveries of the KODIAK in December 2007. For more information, please visit www.questaircraft.com.
